Review: Dirty Little Secret

Hillary hadn’t meant to sleep with Bert "DJ XTC" Morder. She blamed the lack of public bathrooms, and one too many Jaeger bombs for her even contacting DJ XTC in the first place. Now, thanks to the Internet, and the unfortunate incident of the studio live stream, all of Chicago was wondering exactly who the girl with the red-soled shoe had been. How long can she keep her identity a secret, and what will happen once her secret is out? Suggested for readers 18+ for mild romantic situations.

Dirty Little Secret had me hooked from the first few pages. Hillary is such a believable character that you immediately start thinking "I know someone just like her!". Willow Sanders really captured the spirit of what it's like to be a young, single girl struggling to make a place for herself in the world. The abundance of alcohol and a bathroom emergency was a hilarious and clever way to send Hillary into Bert's arms and to let you in on their "Dirty Little Secret". Between Hillary's overbearing, jealous boss Carolyn and her always drunk, big-mouthed friends, Hillary has a hard time keeping her "Dirty Little Secret" a secret for very long. Hillary and Bert's romance was a little bit clumsy and sweet. They are a very endearing couple and I would love to read more about them! This is a great read for lounging by the pool or now that winter is here, lounging by the fireplace and pretending you are by the pool. I loved Willow Sanders' writing style and I look forward to seeing more from her.
